1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at ALDI. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment. Your responsibilities will include selecting and relocating stock, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with your peers and warehouse management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Offer suggestions to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Independently perform delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Engage in various physical activities like bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
