1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As part of the warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Conduct general cleaning and inventory tasks.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving operational goals.
• Perform tasks accurately within company guidelines.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• 18 years or older to be employed.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficiently organize and execute tasks.
• Interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, bending, reaching, and various physical activities.
• Ability to work in different temperature environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
