Job Description

We are hiring a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This full-time position based in Brooklyn, NY involves the pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of our consolidation/distribution center, utilizing standard dock worker techniques. The schedule and specific duties may vary depending on the terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required, with training options available for candidates with less experience.
• Must possess a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements, and no automatic restriction.
• Stable work record and safe driving history.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
