Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. As a key member of ABF Freight, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring timely transportation services to our customers.

General Description of Duties

• Pickup and deliver cargo to various destinations near the consolidation/distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers using industry-standard techniques and procedures.
• Duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of tractor/trailer experience required; training available for candidates with less experience.
• Class-A CDL with specific endorsements.
• Good work record and safe driving history.
• Ability to pass DOT requirements.
