1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and managing merchandise in our warehouse. This position requires physical agility, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse management.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and follow warehouse procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Follow company policies and procedures efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
