1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and management.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow ergonomic and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Engage in various physical activities in warehouse environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
