1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of the warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with team members and leadership to optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficient selection and receipt of incoming stock for order fulfillment.
• Strategic relocation and organization of merchandise in the warehouse.
• Preparation of merchandise for shipment and unloading incoming shipments.
• General cleaning duties to uphold warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participation in warehouse inventory counts and effective communication with peers and management.
• Providing input for process improvement and supporting budget goals.
• Adhering to company policies, safety guidelines, and maintaining product quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, resilience, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting of products up to 45 pounds, movement of merchandise, standing, bending, reaching, and operating industrial equipment.
• Capability to work in various temperatures and environments.
