2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations are vital in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our customers to enjoy. The average weekly hours for this role are fewer than 30 hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise correctly according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise efficiently.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Independently make decisions within delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving warehouse budgeted goals.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older to be employed at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret company policies, excellent communication skills, basic arithmetic, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
