2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Company: Aldi
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $22.75 - $28.75 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift - 3:00 PM start time

Schedules:
• Schedule A1: Wednesday-Sunday
• Schedule A2: Friday-Tuesday
• Schedule B: 2 out of every 3 weekends
• Schedule C: every other weekend
• Schedule D: Monday-Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle incoming stock
• Relocate merchandise in warehouse
• Load/unload shipment
• Maintain warehouse appearance and safety
• Participate in inventory counts
• Communicate effectively with peers and leadership
• Provide input for process improvements
• Inspect product quality and safety
• Independently make decisions within area of responsibility
• Help achieve budgeted goals
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures
• Operate equipment safely
• Notify management of issues
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:
• Must be 18+ years old
• Act conscientiously, collaborate, demonstrate positive attitude, drive for success, organize efficiently

Job-specific Competencies:
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Detail-oriented and follows instructions
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma preferred

Physical Requirements:
• Lift product weighing up to 45 pounds
• Move merchandise and prepare deliveries
• Sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, walk, work in varying temperatures
• Operate powered industrial equipment
