2nd Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our warehouse team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. Our warehouse operates both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, offering a diverse work environment. You will undergo a thorough training and safety program to equip you with the necessary skills for success.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $25.75 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and select incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize, relocate, and load merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Conduct warehouse cleaning and inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achieve budget goals.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Act independently within delegated responsibilities and follow company procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any concerns.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and resilience.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work in various temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
