Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring products are efficiently received, loaded, and delivered to our stores, providing quality service to our customers. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $25.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for selecting and receiving incoming stock, handling merchandise strategically, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and cooperating effectively with team members and leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Provide input to improve processes and achieve goals.
- Inspect product quality and report issues.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
