Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a key part in store management, including supervising day-to-day activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
  • Identify training opportunities for team development.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide product feedback.
  • Interview and train store personnel.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Maximize sales through effective product placement and merchandising.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail management principles.
  • Experience operating a cash register and retail equipment.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
