Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans to ensure overall store performance. Your responsibilities will include identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team, monitoring the competitive environment, providing product feedback, maintaining inventory procedures, and ensuring customer service excellence.

Average Hours: 38 hours per week
Starting Wage: $24.50 per hour
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the direct leader in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results
- Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
- Identify training and development opportunities for team members
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback
- Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel
- Ensure store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and product merchandising
- Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary
- Comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Operational and budget management skills
- Prior retail management experience preferred
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum 3 years of retail experience required
Prior management experience preferred
