Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the Aldi team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Job Type

Full-Time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and maintain document security

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Safe use of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
