Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the team, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock products efficiently.
- Assist customers and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping journey.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in inventory counts according to guidelines and monitor accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize loss.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a professional manner.
- Stay organized, pay attention to detail, and multitask efficiently.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
