Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi, responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a superior customer shopping experience. As part of the ALDI team, you will collaborate with colleagues and management to uphold company standards and provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
  • Perform general cleaning duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
