Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to customer service, stocking, and sanitation in assigned department(s).
• Follow department procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking products.
• Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs effectively, and maximize sales potential.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
• Learn about and promote Whole Foods Market core values and goals.

Desired Work Experience

• No prior retail experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to learn about all products carried in the department.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Passion for natural foods and the mission of Whole Foods Market.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
• Exposure to various temperatures and ability to work in wet/cold environments.
