Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with our team will contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Uphold company policies and ensure document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Physical Demands
- Stock and arrange products weighing up to 45 pounds
- Engage in various physical activities such as bending, lifting, carrying, and walking
- Operate equipment and machinery as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
- Able to operate a cash register accurately
- Skilled in using equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
- Capable of following company policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in multitasking
- Meet all state and local requirements
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
