Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store maintains a welcoming atmosphere for customers through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Equivalent knowledge from a combination of education and experience.
