Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to improve store efficiency.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy as per guidelines.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Comply with company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Proficiency in providing courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to maintain store cleanliness to company standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcohol.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
