Job Description
Join our team as a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, where you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, stocking products, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and neatly stock shelves
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt, courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- High school diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
