Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience. Collaborate with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers with shopping, communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
- Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and perform assigned duties.
Physical Demands
Ability to stock merchandise and perform various physical tasks around the store. Must be able to handle products weighing up to 45 pounds and be able to work with or without accommodation.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Proficient in providing excellent customer service and operating a cash register.
- Skilled in using store equipment and following company policies.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Blend of education and work experience is also considered.
