Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store’s cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment for all customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the 'Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills' outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively with management, and provide feedback on product and inventory issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
