Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and organized environment to enhance the overall customer shopping experience. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's success.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Assist in inventory management and cash handling
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team setting
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
