Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to enhance the overall customer shopping experience. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's success.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, handle general cleaning duties, and maintain organized merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Good understanding of company policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
