We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a key member of our transportation and logistics division, you will play a crucial role in the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods.
General Description of Duties
- Handle the safe and timely pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Utilize forklifts and follow proper procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
- Tasks and schedules may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training available for less experienced candidates).
- Class-A CDL with necessary endorsements.
- Stable work history with a focus on safety.
- Ability to pass DOT screenings and meet medical requirements.
