• Perform drug screen collection and processing.
• Handle laboratory phone calls efficiently.
• Recognize and respond to emergent conditions.
• Provide phlebotomy services with professionalism and patient focus.
• Evaluate and enhance skills continuously.
• Take accountability for providing quality patient care.
• Promote service excellence and laboratory growth.
• Collaborate with different departments as needed.
• Perform arterial punctures when assigned.
• Execute infection control practices and patient identification procedures.
• Complete duties as delegated.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or prior phlebotomy experience.
• Experience in a clinical environment.
