We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. In this full-time evening shift role, you will play a vital part in our healthcare team by ensuring accurate specimen collection and maintaining high-quality standards in a patient-centered manner.

Responsibilities

• Promote professionalism and maintain a cooperative working environment.
• Obtain specimens following laboratory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with care providers regarding patient information.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Follow procedural guidelines and prioritize workload efficiently.
• Ensure proper specimen packaging, transport, and accessioning.
• Adhere to infection control practices and patient safety protocols.
• Perform drug screen collections and processing.
• Provide phlebotomy services with a focus on patient care.
• Engage in self-evaluation for continuous improvement.
• Accountability for the quality of care provided.
• Promote service excellence and contribute to laboratory growth.
• Collaborate with various departments within the healthcare system.
• Perform arterial punctures and maintain infection control standards.
• Completion of other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program or relevant experience.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting.
