Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team at ALDI. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies, ensure document security, and maintain confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Ability to maintain store cleanliness and follow procedures
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with retail operations is a plus
