Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining store operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and provide feedback on products and inventory issues.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures.
• Perform general cleaning duties and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register.
• Safely operate equipment and maintain store cleanliness.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience is considered.
