Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour based on shift differentials. As a key member of our warehouse operation, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements and adhere to company policies.
- Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and contribute to achieving budget goals.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and within a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at varying heights.
- Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Work in various temperatures and environments.
