Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director, Clinical Data Innovation to join our team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This role involves overseeing all personnel, processes, and technologies related to the data and analytics platforms used by the Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO) department. The Associate Director will lead a team responsible for managing, configuring, and programming the platforms, providing vision, leadership, and mentorship. Collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors is key to success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead strategic roadmap for clinical data platforms.
  • Optimize Jazz's use of data platforms and implement change management strategies.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Clinical Data Innovation team.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships at a senior leadership level.
  • Stay current with technology as applied to clinical trials.
  • Resolve strategic issues creatively within GCDO and across Clinical Development.
  • Translate business needs into system and end user requirements.
  • Engage in the vendor selection process for new data solutions.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and IT partners for development and testing processes.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of clinical trial study design and drug development process.
  • Experience with designing visualization tools in a clinical trial environment.
  • Familiarity with CDASH standards and clinical trial data collection systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management experience and knowledge of regulatory and industry standards.
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in relevant fields with 10 years in a clinical trial role.

Salary

This role offers competitive compensation within the range of $152,000-$228,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k retirement savings plan, and flexible paid vacation.
