Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology

Job Description:

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company, is seeking an Associate Medical Director for Medical Affairs in Oncology. In this role, you will support US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and Biliary tract cancers (BTCs). You will develop and maintain scientific and educational programs in alignment with the disease states of interest, reporting to the US Executive Medical Director.

Responsibilities:

• Support US Medical Affairs activities for HER2+ target therapy in GEA and BTCs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to achieve business goals.
• Provide medical authority for unsolicited requests and support post-marketing studies.
• Contribute to Medical Congress activities and engage with Patient Advocacy groups.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree with 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Strong clinical background in Oncology and expertise in clinical trial data analysis.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Track record of high performance and creativity in medical community interactions.

Education and Licenses:

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.

Travel:

• 20-30% domestic travel required.
