Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers effectively
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy, adhere to cash policies, and uphold company procedures
- Contribute feedback to management on products and operational aspects
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Capacity to work independently and in a team environment
- Organizational skills, ability to follow instructions, and multi-task effectively
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
