Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team.

  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Report feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
  • Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures
  • Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
  • Capable of general cleaning duties and following company policies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is a plus
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
