Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in your daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to help improve store operations.
- Conduct store inventory counts following guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform general cleaning duties to meet company standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks and follow company policies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
