Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join ALDI, a leader in the retail industry. As a valued team member, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain cash handling standards.
• Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and ensure confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Proficiency in customer service and cash register operations.
• Ability to operate store equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Compliance with local regulations for alcohol sales.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent, prior retail experience.
