Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join ALDI's team. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an excellent shopping experience for customers.

Position Type:

Full-Time

Average Hours:

32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves neatly
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies and procedures

Physical Demands:

Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Operate equipment safely and properly
• Ability to stay organized, follow instructions, and work in a team
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma preferred, retail experience a plus
