Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a great shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and support daily store operations.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Operate a cash register efficiently
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently and within a team environment
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in retail preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
