Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean store environment. This role offers a Full-Time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide valuable feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies, maintaining security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Proficiency in general cleaning duties and compliance with company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to multitask and follow instructions.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcohol.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is beneficial.
- A combination of education and experience is considered.
