Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a Customer Service and Stock Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As an integral part of the store team, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) expected for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of inventory.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Experience in retail operations is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
