Director Toxicology

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for a skilled Director of Toxicology to oversee the global nonclinical regulatory and investigative toxicology for our product portfolio. As the Director, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the overall regulatory strategy for Jazz programs, from research to registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and manage direct reports in toxicology.
• Design, conduct, and monitor toxicology studies at external facilities.
• Provide input on discovery and nonclinical development strategies.
• Collaborate with key internal functions and external partners.
• Maintain current understanding of relevant scientific literature.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Biochemistry, or Biology.
• 8-10 years of experience in drug development toxicology.
• Expertise in FDA, EMA, and ICH guidance, GLP regulations, and major regulatory submissions.
• Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
