Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Executive Director for Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations to lead the team responsible for executing and delivering the Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline. This pivotal role requires extensive knowledge in solid tumor clinical development, strategic operational planning, project cost estimations, and global experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ICH/GCP requirements, industry practices, and standards, as well as the ability to foster effective internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all operational aspects of the Jazz late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
  • Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of clinical research budgets and timelines.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to staff for high performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 10 years in oncology.
  • Excellent communication skills and in-depth knowledge of clinical research functions.
  • Strong business acumen, clinical operations expertise, and understanding of clinical trial technology.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
