Executive Director, Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Executive Director for Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations to lead a team dedicated to the execution of our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in solid tumor clinical development, project management skills, and a thorough understanding of ICH/GCP requirements. This role involves strategic planning, operational leadership, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Executive Director will be a key member of the Global Clinical Development Operations leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of the late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
• Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of clinical research budgets and timelines.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to staff, fostering high performance and teamwork.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and project success.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, with at least 10 years in oncology.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical operations, project management, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
