Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and uphold company procedures
• Perform general cleaning duties and operate equipment efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
• Efficiently operate a cash register and various store equipment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
• Prior retail experience preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous work experience in a retail setting
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
