As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment for customers. You'll work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies while ensuring document security
• Perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands

- Stock merchandise and lift up to 45 pounds
- Sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk around the store

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register accurately
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently and in a team environment

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
