Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. This position offers a unique opportunity to train comprehensively in all aspects of store management, leading to the responsibility of running your own store. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will oversee daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage staffing needs, and develop operational strategies while mentoring your team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the team to deliver superior customer service.
• Communicate and uphold the company's core values, fostering teamwork among employees.
• Manage customer concerns and ensure their resolution.
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
• Participate in hiring, scheduling, and training of store personnel.
• Establish job responsibilities, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback for employee growth.
• Monitor store performance, budgets, and loss prevention strategies.
• Ensure a safe and organized store environment.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of retail management principles.
• Experience operating a cash register and retail equipment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
