Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Part Time Stocker/Cashier to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our collaborative environment, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing exceptional customer service. This dynamic role offers new experiences every day.
Position Type:
Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members, communicate relevant information to direct leaders, uphold document security, and complete assigned tasks.
Cashier Responsibilities:
Process customer purchases, stock merchandise, ensure a clean shopping environment, provide excellent customer service, and participate in inventory counts.
Stocker Responsibilities:
Stock shelves, rotate products, follow merchandising guidelines, organize inventory, operate machinery, and uphold safety procedures.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit, stand, lift, carry, and operate equipment as necessary. Stockers must lift products up to 45 pounds and place them at various heights.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older, provide courteous service, follow company policies, communicate effectively, work well in a team, manage time efficiently, and have product knowledge.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus.
