Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store operates smoothly by handling merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness standards to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and maintain a tidy store appearance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow established company procedures and maintain data security.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Proficiency in customer service and operating a cash register.
• Ability to use store equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Compliance with local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
