Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, merchandising products, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Comply with all company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of meeting company standards for cleaning and organization.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is beneficial.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
